A franchise agreement has been approved and executed with the City of Crawfordsville to provide services within the city limits. A franchise agreement has also been approved and executed with Montgomery County to provide services in the unincorporated portions of the county. The original service area will be all of the service area of Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power.

Contracts for the fiber to the home project have been awarded. This consists of four contracts for the fiber optic cable; head end, customer premises and distribution equipment; video head end equipment and construction; and construction of the outside plant and fiber optic cable placement.

Financing for the project has been obtained and the resources are in place to proceed with the project.

Construction of the distribution is 90% complete. Construction of the customer service drop has begun in certain aras. The project will be built in phases and take 12 to 18 months to complete.
